About this policy

ScaleCommand operates scalecommand.co. ScaleCommand (“we,” “us”) provides services that help businesses improve their websites, marketing, customer follow-up, automation, and business systems. This policy describes information handled through our public website, scalecommand.co, including its inquiry form, Business Goals guide, and AI concierge.

This policy covers the current public website, inquiries, website chat, and communications about arranging services. It does not govern retained legacy operational systems. Separate notices or agreements may apply to legacy systems and existing client engagements, including systems we build or manage for individual clients.

Information you provide

When you submit an inquiry, we receive your name, email address, and selected services, together with any phone number, business name, business description, goals, notes, and preferred timing you provide. If you arrive from a pricing selection, the inquiry may include that selection. If you use the Business Goals guide or carry context from the AI concierge into an inquiry, it may also include your business type, selected information about business needs, recommended services, reasons, priorities, and a short summary. The submission includes its originating page path and a submission timestamp.

The Business Goals guide uses your answers in your browser to suggest a starting point. Those guide answers are included in an inquiry when you choose to submit one. Using the AI concierge is different: messages you send to chat are processed as described below, even if you never submit an inquiry.

If you email us directly, we receive the message, contact information, and any attachments you choose to send. The website also offers an email-draft or copy fallback for inquiries; opening a draft does not itself send an email. Sending it uses your email service.

Please avoid submitting passwords, payment-card details, health information, or other sensitive information through the inquiry form or chat. These website features do not require that information.

AI concierge

When you send a chat message, our server sends it to OpenAI with a limited recent conversation history, established answers about your business needs, and whether you are on the homepage or pricing page. OpenAI helps interpret your request. Our application uses that interpretation and its service catalog to prepare a response and suggested next steps.

Chat messages can contain personal information if you include it. The public website application does not maintain a permanent chat database. Recent turns remain in browser memory while the chat is running; closing the chat panel does not necessarily clear them. “Start over” clears the current chat's displayed conversation and answer state, but does not delete information already sent to service providers or submitted in an inquiry.

We request that OpenAI not store generated responses for later API retrieval. This does not mean that OpenAI processes data without any retention: provider security, abuse-monitoring, and other applicable data controls may still apply. See OpenAI's API data controls.

Technical information and browser storage

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information to deliver and operate the website. This can include IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, request times, response status, and diagnostic information. Our inquiry and chat handlers use a hashed IP-derived value and temporary request counters to limit abusive or excessive requests. Hashing does not make this information necessarily anonymous.

The current website application does not implement advertising trackers or a visitor analytics integration, and does not set application cookies. Hosting and security processing still occurs when you visit.

If you choose to move chat context into an inquiry, the website temporarily places a summary, structured answers, selected service when available, and timestamp in your tab's session storage, with an in-memory fallback. The handoff is removed from session storage when the inquiry reads it; the application rejects a handoff older than 15 minutes. This is a validity check, not a promise that a background timer deletes every stored copy after 15 minutes. Browser session restoration and browser settings can affect how long unused session data remains. You can clear site data through your browser settings.

How information is used and handled by providers

We use submitted information to respond to business inquiries, discuss potential work, communicate about the services requested, and provide the website's chat and recommendation features. Technical information supports website operation, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

The current website uses:

  • Vercel to host the website and run its inquiry and chat handlers.
  • Resend to deliver submitted inquiries as email to ScaleCommand. The message contains the inquiry details and uses your email address for replies.
  • OpenAI to interpret messages sent through the AI concierge, together with the limited context described above.
  • Email services to receive and manage correspondence. Messages delivered to our business mailbox, and messages you send directly, are also handled by the relevant email providers.

These providers process information for their respective functions. Provider terms, settings, and retention practices also apply. The public website does not offer account registration or a payment checkout and does not ask for payment-card information.

Sale of personal information

We do not sell personal information collected through the website and communications covered by this policy.

Retention

There is no permanent inquiry or chat database in the current public website application. This does not mean submitted information is only transmitted and immediately erased. Inquiry emails and correspondence can remain in email systems, delivery records can remain with providers, and technical records can remain in hosting systems. Chat provider processing is described above.

Browser form and conversation state, temporary server request counters, email records, and provider records have different lifecycles. We do not state a single fixed deletion period for all of these records. Contact us about information you have submitted or a deletion request.

Your choices and requests

You can browse the public website without sending a chat message or inquiry. You can choose which optional details to provide. To ask about, request access to, correct, or request deletion of personal information you supplied, contact contact@scalecommand.co. Please describe the request and the information involved without sending unnecessary sensitive details. Available rights and any required verification or exceptions depend on applicable law and the circumstances of the request.

Third-party links

The website links to third-party material, including sources supporting published statistics. When you follow an external link, the destination's own privacy practices apply. Logos illustrating tools we can connect for clients do not by themselves mean those tools receive information from your visit.

Security

The website uses HTTPS, server-side input checks, and request limits. These measures cannot guarantee the security of every transmission or stored record. Please contact us if you have a concern about information submitted through the website.

Children

This website is intended for people seeking business services, rather than children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at contact@scalecommand.co.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or its data handling. The published version will identify its effective or updated date.

For privacy questions or requests, email contact@scalecommand.co.
